Conservative social media influencers NELK Boys tried to make a point by asking a vet to give their dog gender-affirming surgery, and instead all they got was kicked out of the vet’s office.

The Canadian influencers, known for their vlogs and pranks, were called “two of the most recognizable personalities for young people in North America” by the Toronto Star. With 4.5 million followers on TikTok and 4.5 million on Instagram, their reach is wide.

The Doggy Parton collection includes sparkly outfits, furry cowboy hats, pearl collars, Dolly-themed dog toys, and even a blonde wig.

“We wanted to do, like, a gender transition to make him a female,” says NELK Boy Kyle Forgeard, holding a bulldog and a pink tutu. Forgeard was wearing a Bud Light cap, probably a reference to the sponsored video Dylan Mulvaney did weeks ago. “But we don’t want to neuter him!”

One person working there says that filming the premises isn’t authorized, and the other NELK Boy, Stephen Deleonardis, says that they’re “filming a documentary for his transition.” Neither boy seemed to notice that, if they were trying to pass themselves off as dog owners who truly believe their dog is transfemme, they were repeatedly getting its pronouns wrong.

“You guys don’t offer sex changes here?… That’s very transphobic of you,” one of them says.

“Let me explain it to you, it’s a male dog but every time, if we put a tutu in front of him, he’ll put it on right away,” Forgeard says.

“I want you to leave,” one of the workers says. “This is my property. I want you to leave the premises. OK? I will charge you for trespassing if you continue to stay here.”

“I’m reporting this to the LGBTQ-plus-minus-two Association of America,” Forgeard said. His Instagram page bills him as a “comedian.”

“Whatever you like,” the employee responds as they leave.

They then posted an edited version of the interaction to Instagram, apparently thinking they won this argument with the vet and that the video made them look good.

Can you imagine having so little substance or fulfillment in your personal life that you would take the time and preparation and effort to set up this scenario, film it, record it and post it on social media? Damn.
